Cribs along the Saint Francis Walk - SAN LEO

The Associazione I Cammini di Francesco in Emilia Romagna once again proposes an itinerary of nativity scenes along the Saint Francis Walk.
From December to 6 January, in Rimini, in the villages of the Marecchia Valley and at the Sanctuary of La Verna, numerous nativity scenes are on display in convents, fortresses and churches; ancient and modern; made by master nativity scene makers, nuns and friars, works of art or simple creations made by children.
All to celebrate the birth of the Child of Bethlehem, as St Francis called him.

Classic nativity scene with plaster statues.
The parish church and the adjacent Cathedral of San Leo form a Romanesque architectural complex of great charm and beauty.

Semi-mechanical crib set up by the adults of San Leo, a handcrafted creation that enriches the nativity scene with movement and attention to detail.
